Project Dream Repair is a charitable outreach of AMTC: the Millie Lewis Actors, Models & Talent Competition. It is targeted to assist financially challenged individuals and families with exceptional talent and/or an exceptional life story get to AMTC. We believe in giving back to the industry we love. We believe in God’s calling toward compassion and charity. Charity is alive and well in the business world. AMTC tithes 10% of our contestant enrollment through our scholarship programs.
“For with God, nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:27
If you have a true calling to act, model, sing, or dance, nothing should stop you. Nothing can stop you but doubt. Believe in your talent. Believe in God’s ability to open doors. At AMTC, we believe that everyone who hears about us, visits our websites, or auditions for us has been sent by God. He has brought you to our door for a reason. For some of you, the reason is to become an AMTC contestant- perhaps an AMTC success story. You may have a mission to make people laugh or cry, to inspire them, to lead them, to entertain. You may have a mission to be a role model to others: your friends, family, coworkers, peer group, community, or perhaps, millions!
While nothing is impossible for God, we must do our part. We must do everything possible to help ourselves. AMTC’s Project Dream Repair offers a helping hand to those who have done everything possible, but AMTC still seems out of reach. At AMTC, we know that parents want a positive experience that allows children and teens to safely explore their dreams. They want their kids to enter this industry with self-esteem, and to be bettered by it. Adult contestants want the chance to finally answer the “could’a should’a would’a” question and meet the future with no regrets. Only AMTC provides the opportunity to discover a talent career in a God-centered environment. Project Dream Repair is about hope.
AMTC unites promising newcomers with many of the top Agents, Managers, Casting Directors, and Music Industry Executives in the world- career makers that new actors, models, singers and dancers rarely get a chance to meet. However, AMTC’s mission is not just one of talent placement, but also of teaching families about the industry. In the process, AMTC teaches contestants to respect themselves, to reach for their dreams, and to lead exemplary lives. Hope can be restored.
