Financial Aid Application
AMTC intends to award 10% of all contestant spaces to contestants requiring financial aid. Thousands of applicants are considered from all over the world. Financial aid applications will be reviewed every two weeks, 9 months each year. We will not review applications within a six-week period surrounding an AMTC event. Applicants may be asked to submit additional material if the application is incomplete. Applicants may be called for a telephone interview or an in-person interview if the applicant lives within reasonable proximity of the Atlanta office. Applicants will be notified of AMTC’s decision within 4 weeks of application.
Factors included in awarding financial aid include: 1) goals, 2) grades for students and/or achievements for adults, 3) essay, 4) talent or modeling marketability as judged by video or photo submissions, 5) ability to attend and understand AMTC, and 6) financial or personal need.
Those selected must commit to serious preparation, self-study, an open-minded, eager, and enthusiastic attitude, role model behavior, ethics, and excellence in all areas of life, including the pursuit of the talent industry. Applicants under the age of 18 must have parental agreement, support, commitment, cooperation, and the ability to assist their child or teen in the pursuit of the talent industry.
* Note to anyone applying for financial aid who has been to an AMTC audition and received a call-back from the scout(s) in attendance: Congratulations on your call back! Please note on your application the search you attended and your scout. You will still need to fill out the application completely, as well as to submit a video and/or photos. Financial aid applicants may be reviewed by additional AMTC scouts, and in some cases, industry advisors – such as agents or industry VIP’s.
